An exhibition by John Hollis Kaufmann

In John’s own words, My ultimate aim is to lead the viewer into the world of peace, softness and reflection with barely recognizable forms of colour and position, uncluttered by man and man-made things that really distract from the journey.” Waves is aptly timed to be ion display during Bermuda’s heritage month of May. The collection, including the video that encapsulates more of the John’s inspiration and process, are a tribute to the beauty of our South Shore. The works serve as a reminder that even during these tumultuous times, the convergence of land, sea and air on Bermuda’s shores offer a place of grounding, comfort, reflection, and inspiration even if the waves themselves are swelling with rage and fury.
