THE ARTISTS
BIOGRAPHY
Keishunda Curtis enjoys creating beauty from unwanted, unseen, or found materials. Considering humanity’s move into a metamodern era, an appreciation for the cycle of life and the delicate balance of old and new is honoured.
Andrea Ottley is a multi-disciplined artist primarily expressing herself in the medium of writing and photography. Inspired by the beauty in the present, she aims to share her joy, light and learning through her creative lenses.
THE ARTISTS’ STATEMENT
“When faces called flowers float out of the ground…” -e.e. cummings
This exhibition reflects the reality that the present, the now, the vortex, the everlasting is what’s most life-changing. As art reflects the past, present and future, it still always experienced in the NOW. The elements in the exhibition are meant to draw one attention to now, inside and outside the gallery.
We hope that you can make it on Friday, August 23rd from 5pm to 7pm for the opening of these two new exhibitions!
