Homeland (opening July 26th)
Chinese Classic Floral Art Exhibition by You Zhai & Lei Fan

This exhibition will showcase over 30 Chinese paintings by the talented couple Zhai You and Fan Lei.

Their works reflect the philosophy and aesthetic taste of Eastern art, depicting natural scenery such as flowers, rocks, ponds, and waterfowl around houses, illustrating the warmth and tranquility of home, the harmony between humans and nature, and their insights into life and love for it. Through the “freehand spirit” of Chinese painting, they present the cultural concepts of “unity of heaven and man” and “following nature’s way,” embodying the positive humanistic spirit of truth, goodness, and beauty.

For many years, this couple has actively promoted Chinese painting overseas, using art to tell China’s stories well. They convey the Chinese principles of friendliness, valuing harmony, neighborly peace, trustworthiness, seeking common ground while reserving differences, and mutual learning. Their efforts tirelessly enhance cultural exchange and foster emotional bonds and friendship between China and other countries.
